Creatours maps Bangkok street-food spots found in real creator videos, and lets you rate the ones you visit. This page explains — plainly — what we collect, why, who else sees it, and the rules for using the app. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data.
“Creatours” (“we”, “us”) operates the web app at creatour.food. For any privacy question, or to ask us to delete your data, email hello@creatour.food. We act as the data controller for the information described below.
You can browse the map, build routes, and explore creators without giving us anything. We only receive personal data when you choose to submit one of the forms below.
| When | What we receive | Why | Kept where |
|---|---|---|---|
| You finish a route and tap “Rate it” | Your email address, and the names/IDs of the spots on that route | To email you one link to rate those spots | Our server |
| You submit a rating from that emailed link | Your answers (score, how you got there, tags, an optional short note) | To build the community “Tuk-Tuk score”. Only anonymous averages are published — never your email or individual answers | Our server |
| You request a guided Creatour | Your contact (email / WhatsApp / LINE), preferred date, group size, an optional note | So we can reply to arrange it. No payment is taken in the app | Our server |
Your saved spots, your “Bangkok Passport”, points, badges, the creators you follow, and the email you last typed into a form are kept in your browser’s local storage — on your device, not on our server. Clearing them is one tap away in Profile → Settings, or by clearing your browser data.
A few providers necessarily process some data so the app can function:
If your browser asks permission to share your location, that’s used only to centre the map and find spots near you. Decline it and the app still works — it just picks a starting area for you.
We keep form submissions only as long as needed for the purpose above, and remove them when they’re no longer needed or when you ask. Published rating averages contain no personal data and remain part of the app.
Wherever you live, we honour these requests: to access a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to withdraw consent at any time. This reflects the principles of the EU GDPR and Thailand’s PDPA. To exercise any of them, email hello@creatour.food and we’ll act within a reasonable time.
If we change what we collect, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is significant, note it in the app.
Creatours is a free guide to Bangkok street-food spots. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Spots are drawn from publicly available creator videos and mapping data, plus a small number of editorially added markets we label as our own picks. We work to keep details accurate, but opening hours, prices, and whether a place is still open can change. Always check before travelling. Ratings and the “Tuk-Tuk score” are community opinion, not professional advice.
Creator names, videos, and channel details belong to their owners and are referenced to credit and link back to them. We don’t claim affiliation with, or endorsement by, any creator unless stated. Video playback happens on YouTube under YouTube’s terms.
Keep ratings honest and your own. Don’t submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading content. By submitting a rating you allow us to publish it in anonymised, aggregated form as part of a spot’s community score. We may leave out submissions that look like spam or abuse.
Requesting a guided Creatour is an enquiry, not a booking or a contract. Nothing is charged in the app. We’ll reply to arrange details, and any tour is subject to separate confirmation.
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty, and may change or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, Creatours isn’t liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from using it.
Questions about these terms: hello@creatour.food. These terms are read together with the Privacy Policy above. Where a dispute can’t be resolved informally, it will be handled under applicable consumer-protection law and the good-faith principles reflected here.
